alaska salmon Omega-3: a documentary

Statewide, 20% of the Pink salmon harvested commercially in 2006 originated from the Alaska Department of Fish & Game regulated private/non-profit (PNP) salmon enhancement system. This collection of images were taken at the KRAA Kitoi Bay Hatchery on Agofnak Island. The Pink salmon were returning to Kitoi Bay to spawn.  The week these photos were taken, there were hundreds of thousand of salmon “stacked up” in Kitoi Bay.
